BBQ Chicken Bowls

These BBQ chicken bowls are so easy to make and have a great healthy balance that includes fiber, carbohydrates, protein and healthy fat. The key is using your favorite BBQ sauce.

  • 1/4 c BBQ Sauce *Find a low sugar option
  • 1 lb Chicken Breast
  • 2 Sweet Potatoes Diced
  • 2 c Mixed Greens
  • Pickles
  • 1 Avocado
  • 1 tbsp Avocado Oil
  • Spice Mix: Paprika, Garlic, Onion, Sea Salt + Pepper


  • Preheat oven to 425
  • Dice sweet potatoes into cubes and toss with oil and spice mixture, roast in the oven at 425 for about 35 minutes until they are crispy
  • Cut chicken into cubes and marinate in spice mixture and BBQ sauce while potatoes are cooking
  • Cook the chicken until done
  • Assemble the bowl add greens, roasted sweet potatoes, bbq chicken, pickles, avocado and enjoy!
