Who says a bagel can't be part of a healthy diet? Here I want to encourage you to have food freedom and choose healthy things we can add into a meal that is not traditionally "healthy". Check out how to make a bagel into a healthy breakfast option!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Everything Bagel (This is a GF bagel from TJs, a great option would be Dave's Killer Brand Bagels or just a plain bagel from your local shop!)
  • 1-2 Pasture Raised Eggs Scrambled or over easy
  • 1 handful Organic Spinach Sub whatever greens you have on hand (arugula, mixed greens)
  • 1/4 Avocado Smashed
  • 1 squeeze Lemon

Instructions
 

  • Toast Bagel + Spread Avocado on each side
  • Scramble or cook over easy eggs in a pan
  • Saute greens + squeeze fresh lemon over them for a fresh kick
  • Assemble the bagel and Enjoy!

Notes

This is such a yummy breakfast and the best part is you can make it the night before and store in the fridge so you are ready to go when you wake up!
Typical bagel breakfast usually just include a plain bagel with a huge chunk of cream cheese, leaving you to crash 2 hours later. - With this bagel combo we have added protein + fat +  and fiber to keep you full and energized!
