Lean Ground Beef Nachos: A Protein-Packed and Nutritious Snack

You can customize this recipe and use any type of lean meat, any kind of cheese or add any of your favorite toppings. Ingredients
- 1 bag Siete Tortilla Chips
- 1 lb Lean Ground Beef can sub ground turkey, or tofu scramble.
- 2 tbsp Taco Seasoning
- 1 jar Salsa Verde
- 1/2 c Shredded Cheese
- 1/4 c Pickled Onions
- 1 Avocado
- 1 bunch Chopped Cilantro
- 1 Lime
- 1 Jalapeno
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400
- Heat a pan to medium high heat and cook ground beef with taco seasoning until brown
- Add in a jar of salsa to cooked meat mixture and mix together and cook for 5 minutes
- Remove ground beef from pan
- Place siete tortilla chips on a baking sheet or cast iron pan
- Layer with cheese and ground beef
- Place nachos in the oven for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted
- Top with pickled onions, jalapeno, avocado, cilantro and fresh lime
- Enjoy!
