
Sweet Potato Fries
The crispy sweet potato fries that are the perfect side to any dish. The best part is, I made them healthy! Skipping the deep fryer you can use the air fryer to make this delicious basket of fries in 20 minutes
Equipment
- Air Fryer I use Ninja Dual Air Fryer
Ingredients
- 1 large Sweet Potato
- 2 c Ice Water
- 2 tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1 tsp Sea Salt + Pepper
- 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder
- 1 tbsp Onion Powder
- Chopped Parsley optional garnish
Instructions
- Slice sweet potato into wedges of uniform thickness1 large Sweet Potato
- Soak sweet potato in ice water for at least 10 minutes to remove excess starch (this helps get them extra crispy!)2 c Ice Water
- Drain water after 10 minutes then pat dry
- Toss in oil and seasonings and mix evenly1 tsp Sea Salt + Pepper, 1 tbsp Garlic Powder, 1 tbsp Chili Powder, 1 tbsp Onion Powder, 2 tbsp Avocado Oil
- Place in the air fryer, be sure to not overcrowd the basket or else they will steam. Even heat flow is key!
- Remove from air fryer and serve with chopped parsley to garnish and a sprinkle of sea salt while still hotChopped Parsley
